NYSACT is a statewide trade association for collision repair professionals. NYSACT is comprised of the twelve individual trade associations representing these geographical locations: Greater Binghamton, Greater Buffalo, Capital District, Long island, Greater Newburgh, New York City, Greater Rochester, Rome-Utica, Greater Syracuse and Westchester-Putnam-Rockland. NYSACT is administered by an elected board of directors headed by the President and staffed by an Executive Director, Legal Counsel and Legislative lobbyist. NYSACT employs a professional as well as, a “grass roots” approach to legislative issues. NYSACT has a full legislative program with broad based bipartisan support in both the Assembly and Senate. NYSACT is constantly interacting with government regulators and has been instrumental in the formation of an advisory group comprised of the Department of Motor Vehicles, the Insurance Department, the Insurance Companies and the Repair Industry. NYSACT is working to achieve a fair and equitable marketplace for all collision repair professionals and welcomes input and suggestions at any time, on any issues.
